Upgrade Policy

For System Cleaner 5, Total Privacy 5 and MemOptimizer 3 or newer

All customers who purchased software from Pointstone Software are eligible for free replacement and software updates within two years of their original date of purchase (or the purchase of a registration renewal). Includes all minor changes and fixes as well as brand new versions released within the contracted upgrade period.

For System Cleaner 4, Total Privacy 4, MemOptimizer 2 and Internet Accelerator 1 or older

There is a difference between an upgrade and an update. All updates to the program are free. Updates are minor changes and fixes, and are portrayed as a change to the (x) part of the version number. i.e. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. For instance, registered users of System Cleaner 4.0 are entitled to System Cleaner 4.9 free of charge.

Upgrades are major changes to the program, and could incur an additional charge. Upgrades are depicted by a change in the left part of the version number. i.e. 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc.
