Ordering Upgrades

Upgrade Policy (For System Cleaner 5, Total Privacy 5 and MemOptimizer 3 or newer)

All customers who purchased software from Pointstone Software are eligible for free replacement and software updates within one year of their original date of purchase (or the purchase of a registration renewal). Includes all minor changes and fixes as well as new versions released within the contracted upgrade period.

Upgrade Policy (For System Cleaner 4, Total Privacy 4, MemOptimizer 2 and Internet Accelerator 1 or older)

As a registered customer, you are entitled to free updates.

There is a difference between an upgrade and an update. Updates are minor changes and fixes, and are portrayed as a change to the (x) part of the version number. i.e. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. For instance, registered users of System Cleaner 4.0 are entitled to System Cleaner 4.9 free of charge.

Upgrades are major changes to the program, and could incur an additional charge. Upgrades are depicted by a change in the left part of the version number. i.e. 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc.

If you don't want to purchase an upgrade, you can use the program forever; it will never expire, but you won't be able to use the latest version.
